I think that 2020 Energy is a fascinating game with lots of potential for teaching about sustainability and environment. As a note for US educators, this is out of the European Union so it is more heavily influenced by the EU curriculum, but I believe it is a great game to use for middle schoolers to learn about sustainability, pollution and the environment. 2020 Energy is a game that teaches students the importance of saving energy and reusing materials to provide a more sustainable world. The game uses real life situations that help students make decisions by thinking critically and weighing all the options. This game would be suitable for middle school students. There is very little collaboration with this game as players work individually to help people solve problems at different levels. The game can play saved by creating an online profile or can be played with out creating a profile. The activities in the game did not relate or build upon the previous activity. This game has good and immediate feedback for the player. Overall I think this is a good game with nice visuals. Reviewed by Sara Hartman @SaraHartman11

I think this game is not really amazing but it is not terrible either. I think this game would be perfect for middle school or lower education when they have a chapter in science or social studies on pollution. I learned the economy, ecosystem, and the social life style can change over one major decision, Grh0112 2/21/2014
