Educator Review(s)

This game has a great storyline and hook for engagement, but was very difficult to remain engaged for long because it was hard, with not a lot of feedback. It takes a long time to play to the end and I'm not sure I would use this in a classroom setting for independent use except for enrichment or extra credit. Having to go out and research on the internet was a neat piece of the game and required some extra skills. The game is appropriate for high school and up. Chris Stegall @chris8466, 3/13/14

History of Biology is a serious game to help high school students learn about biology and other sciences. In the game, the players are challenge to think their way through obstacles and riddles. In History of Biology, the students learn about the scientists who helped to create the field of biology.
This game really challenges the players to think through the situations presented to them. Players might find themselves having a hard time to get to the next level because the game is so challenging. Since the game is so challenging, the players find themselves more engaged in the game, and wanting to beat the level or the entire game.-Akshay Patel 3/6/14
