This was a really engaging game to play, with great objectives and learned skills. Players have multiple ways to customize their experience which changes the level of play. This game is appropriate for children 10-18 and may apply to ADHD, bullying, and grief. All the skills learned in SPARX are instantly applicable to real life. The narrative is a great set-up for being a hero in your own life and is an instant hook into the game. The game is relatively new but has received positive review from mental health professionals after its first study. I would highly recommend this game to school counselors and others who work with teens that may tell about feeling depressed. Chris Stegall, @chris8466 03/130/2014

SPARX is an excellent game that motivates players to do things and it helps them feel good about themselves. This game is directed to help with bullying and depression and show students how to deal with it. In SPARX you go on quests that teach you how to do certain tasks that you can apply to real life. These tasks can also boost your self-confidence and your courage to approach others. SPARX can also help you learn to control your emotions. After you complete a level you are asked certain questions and these questions apply to the next level.-colew2017
